In response to the UAE Government’s efforts to provide relief to businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of free zones have announced major relief packages including fee waivers, rent holidays and waiver of penalties.
M/HQ has compiled – and will be updating on an ongoing basis – a “Stimulus Tracker” highlighting key incentives provided by UAE various free zones and registrars.

DSO rolls out additional relief measures
DSO has announced the extension of its relief package introduced on 19 April 2020. Additions include a 100% waiver of registration and licensing fees for new applicants, flexible installment options on lease renewal of existing companies and utilization of visa security deposits to pay off financial dues to the Authority. The new incentives are valid until 31 May 2020.
