In response to the UAE Government’s efforts to provide relief to businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of free zones have announced major relief packages including fee waivers, rent holidays and waiver of penalties.
M/HQ has compiled – and will be updating on an ongoing basis – a “Stimulus Tracker” highlighting key incentives provided by UAE various free zones and registrars.

What’s new?
DAFZA joining the movement!
Following similar announcements by most of Dubai’s free zones, Dubai Airport free zone (DAFZA) has rolled out a number of financial relief and business stimulus measures.
Of particular relevance, the zone will be waiving all registration and licensing fees for new applicants until further notice. DAFZA will also be refunding security deposits/guarantees, postponing rent payments for 3 months, as well as canceling fines levied on existing companies.
