In response to the UAE Government’s efforts to provide relief to businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of free zones have announced major relief packages including fee waivers, rent holidays and waiver of penalties.
M/HQ has compiled – and will be updating on an ongoing basis – a “Stimulus Tracker” highlighting key incentives provided by UAE various free zones and registrars.

What’s new?
ADGM bulks up an incentive package
ADGM has announced the extension of its relief package introduced on 01 April 2020. Notable addition consists of a 50% reduction on registration and licensing fees for new applicants and a 100% waiver on continuation fees for applicants migrating from foreign jurisdictions. The new incentives are valid until 31 December 2020. Filing of annual accounts will also be extended on a case by case basis.
